Habitat: Generally lives in high numbers in the lower reaches of slow-flowing rivers, lakes canals, reservoirs and gravel pits.
Feeding Habits: A feeding bream has an amazing ability to sort the food items from the unwanted silt in its mouth.
Top Bream Baits:
Halibut Pellets - they love fishmeal pellets above all else (4mm and 6mm good for loosefeed and larger ones for hookbait).
Sweetcorn - Bream just adore the taste and texture of sweetcorn. Makes a good target if used over a bed of pellets.
Fishmeal Boilies - Again bream adore boilies, use 10 - 15 mm for hook bait.
Worms - Nothing beats a lobworm with a grain of corn.
Maggots and Casters - What fish does not like these.
